Happy news for all Cake owners
Cake's stock of spare parts and accessories has been bought up by a group of former Cake employees. "It hurt to see the growing uncertainty from our former customers and partners who suddenly lacked support and parts for their bikes around the world. So we decided to do something about it while figuring out our own future plans. The customer has always been most important to us and now we can help to keeping these fine mopeds and motorcycles stay fresh and working around the world.” Says Eric Asmussen, former US manager and Chief Growth Officer at Cake.
For an indefinite future there is now a chance to buy spare parts and accessories for bikes from Cake's previous stock.
"We were on to something fantastic with Cake and the products fill a much-needed place in the modern fossil-free society. They deserve to be outside, to be driven and used, something that we make possible through this initiative. Many of Cake's former partners are in dire need of parts and support, something we now can support with." Says Emil Cronholm, former Export Manager at Cake.
Many of the fleets and larger business customers will also be able to receive help and training regarding service through this initiative. “Having put in so many hours to streamline Cake's previous service offering to end consumers and businesses. Now we have the staff, knowledge and the opportunity through the access to all the spare parts and accessories." Says Jonas Ahlstrand, former global service manager at Cake.
How long the gang will continue with this and if additional materials and parts will be bought in again, they do not want to comment on. They also do not want to comment on the purchase price from the bankruptcy estate, but the warehouse has an estimated purchase value of just under SEK 100m. Important to note that this company and these spare parts and accessories now available are not sold by Cake or in Cake's name but through E2W as a new company.

Do you sell parts direct to end consumers?
Yes, we offer parts for both b2c and b2b consumers but the main focus is to support our partners around the globe who will then support the end consumers.
Can i pay online and is shipping included?
We do not have an online webshop at the moment as we focus on selling large orders to the former Cake partners around the globe. But when time allows we can help end consumers as well. When it comes to shipping we have a deal with a global shipping company who we will refer all customers to.
Payments through invoice or Swish (similar to venmo for swedish customers).
How can I inquire about a specific part?

Can you help with service?
If time allows it we´d be happy to help you. Either by you coming to us in Albyberg, Stockholm with your bike or if we can support you over FaceTime. For a larger need... lets discuss.
Do you provide accessories along with spare parts?
Yes, we offer spare parts as well as a variety of accessories.
Do you provide warranty?
No we do not offer any warranty of any kind as we have bought these spare parts and accessories from the bankruptcy estate of Cake Zero Emission AB.
